Leaving a gift in your will is a positive way of making sure that people suffering from brain tumours benefit from your legacy.

If you already have a will, it is important to review it regularly and ensure that it still reflects your wishes.

What is a Bequest?

A Bequest is a gift made is your will. A bequest may take the form of:

    • Stocks and shares
    • Works of Art, collections, personal effects such as jewellery
    • A specified sun of money
    • life income plan, annuities or trusts
    • proportion or whole of an estate
    • a specific bequest of property

We recommend that if you wish to make a bequestto Cure for Life Foundation, that you discuss it with your solicitor.

Cure for Life Foundation suggests the following bequest clause for legal organisations:

'I bequeath to Cure for Life Foundation ABN 22 121 906 036,  CFN 17519 for its (general purpose or a specific program) the sum of (a specified sum), or (specified items), or (the residue of my estate) free of all duties, and the receipt of the Secretary or other authorised officer for the time being shall be a complete and sufficient discharge for the executor(s).
